Journey at Keen:

My journey with Keen began in the summer of 2024 as a Project Engineer Intern. As a mechanical engineering student, it was incredibly rewarding to get hands-on experience across a wide range of industrial projects, from feed and grain mills to bottling lines. I especially enjoyed being on-site and seeing things come together, like the startup of a new conveyor line.
Throughout the summer, I was exposed to every phase of construction, from discovery and preconstruction to commissioning and closeout. That experience, with outstanding mentorship, gave me a solid understanding of project management and what makes a project successful.
By the end of the summer, I was surprised by how much I had learned and grown in just three months. The support from the Keen team made it easy to stay motivated and dive deep into the work. That’s why coming back for a second summer was such an easy decision. Now, I’m excited to build on that foundation and explore areas I only scratched the surface of last summer.

My Why:

What drives me is building a strong foundation for a future where I can support and provide for a family of my own. I love working with well-rounded, motivated individuals who push and support each other to grow. I thrive on a sense of purpose and that stems from contributing to meaningful work.
