Sips & Songs 2025

On June 13th, the Keen team hosted a VIP tent at Sips & Songs, an annual event held in The District at Prairie Trail in Ankeny. This marked Keens’ 3rd time participating in this event. There were over 200 attendees. The evening was full of fantastic music and delicious food. It was a perfect opportunity for the team to connect outside of work. Building relationships and staying engaged in our community is a core value of Keens. Our interns especially loved meeting more team members and deepening those connections. We love a good opportunity to gather with our customers and team alike.

The Keen team hosted a VIP tent at Sips & Songs bringing together employees and customers for an evening of live music and socializing. Our interns especially enjoyed getting to know our team and customers in a social setting. Sips & Songs is hosted each summer in The District in Ankeny. The line-up this summer was spectacular including several well-known acts. Everyone enjoyed the food and time spent outside of work getting to know others better. The family friendly event is always a hit with employees and customers alike.

“This fall and winter working on the WDM DRA Towers project has been a great learning experience. There have been so many different trades happening and it has been amazing to watch the progress of the Tower. I have loved working with my team every day and learning the ins and outs of daily operations. I really enjoy walking the site and visiting with the subs and creating relationships with them as well as learning their processes of how they do the work they do. Every day has been a learning experience and I have felt my knowledge has grown in the aspects of the construction process as well as the office portion of construction. Overall, I have been thrilled working for Keen and taking pride in the development of the DRA Towers project.”

Keen attended the Becknology Days and East Grand Tower Opening in August of 2021. The whole team was happy to attend the grand opening and kick off the Becknology Days festivities, and we were grateful for the opportunity to design and build this project. In April 2020, Keen Project Solutions prepared to begin Tower Steel Erection for Beck’s Hybrids in Atlanta, Indiana. Our project team continued despite the COVID-19 pandemic, working hard to protect our team and clients as well as deliver on the project. We are continually grateful to the team at Beck’s, as well as our vendors and subcontractors, who make this work possible. We are also grateful for our opportunities in the critical agricultural industry, and we remain ready to serve our clients.

We are always thrilled to see the impact the finished projects have for our clients. At Beck’s facility in Atlanta, Indiana, 1,100 yards of concrete was being poured in preparation for a new soybean processing tower. At the same time, Beck’s employees inside had the opportunity to take a virtual tour of the facility. We love creating solutions to serve all our clients’ needs—no matter what they may be.
